At Civic Titans, we honor the rich history of African diaspora and the immeasurable contributions we made before, during, and after enslavement—contributions that built the wealth of empires like Britain, France, Spain, and America. From farming and science to mathematics and culture, our legacy has shaped and transformed the world. We also treasure the sacrifices and achievements of Indigenous peoples and immigrants whose labor and creativity helped shape this nation. Yet we recognize that today, African Americans remain among the most underserved, lacking organized political power and generational wealth. That is where our focus begins—while building bonds of solidarity across the diverse communities that make America strong. Stay proud, love yourself, and honor, and respect our women and elders.
We Can Do More
Corporations use our consumer and investment dollars to influence government for their corporate gain, not ours. Elected officials leverage our tax dollars to pursue agendas that do not reflect the will of the people. Television, radio, and social media platforms spread and support messages that divide and do not uplift the people.
